Organic on the Web

There are many sources of information on organic farming on the internet. Go to your favourite browser and type in organic and you find lots of sites, some good some not. Everyone who uses the internet has their own favorite websites. If you want to find out more about organic farming I would suggest you start at some of my favourites. Each of them also has numerous links to other sites.

Appropriate Technology Transfer for Rural Areas (ATTRA) - This site has a wealth of information for organic farmers across North America with many factsheets available on-line on specific crops or production issues.

Organic Agricultural Centre of Canada - setup in 2001 it serves all of Canada coordinating on farm research and on-line courses in organic agriculture.

Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada's (AAFC) - News and Analysis organic page with many links to certification and global trade issues.

Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs - OMAFRA's organic page with lots of links to information from other areas as well as our own Factsheets. Let Hugh Martin know if you have comments on this page.
