Simultaneous French translation will be available at the Belleville session, if required.

The objective of the Biogas Systems Pilot Operators' Course is to increase knowledge on:

  • biogas system safety
  • operating parameters
  • testing methods
  • monitoring procedures to optimize performance

This course is being delivered through Ontario Biogas Systems Financial Assistance Program to bring leading-edge information to Ontario food and agriculture biogas system operators.

The course is delivered by skilled facilitators who will encourage discussion and interaction. OMAFRA is working with IBBK to develop and deliver this course. IBBK is internationally recognized for their expertise in anaerobic digestion. IBBK has provided a biogas training program to hundreds of biogas operators in Germany and other European countries over several years. IBBK's content has been translated and modified for delivery here in Ontario.

The number of participants will be limited. This is a four-day course and attendees are strongly encouraged to attend each day, including an on-site visit. Space is limited. Please specify preferred dates and location when registering for the course.
