NEWS

September 22, 2009

North Grenville is revitalizing its economy by encouraging and supporting the growth of its local businesses.

Through the Business Retention and Expansion (BR+E) initiative, funded in part by the Rural Economic Development Program, Ontario is helping the Municipality of North Grenville to:

  • develop an action plan to stimulate the local economy
  • grow local businesses through a coordinated marketing strategy
  • assist local businesses in retaining and creating job opportunities.

BR+E is a community-based, volunteer-driven economic development tool that encourages growth and stability of local businesses.  This development tool works to improve the competitiveness of local businesses by evaluating and addressing their needs and concerns.
