Thank you for your interest in the Rural Summer Jobs Service Program. The 2009 Rural Summer Jobs Service Program application intake is now closed and no longer accepting applications. Each applicant has now been mailed a letter regarding approvals to the 2009 Rural Summer Jobs Service program. Each eligible employer will receive a copy of the 2009 Claim form and the Student Checklist for Eligibility with their approval letter. (Downloadable forms are available at the bottom of this page). Important Dates: April 1st, 2009: First day of subsidized employment More information: Rural Summer Jobs Service The goal of the Rural Summer Jobs Service is to help create jobs which enhance the skills and work experience of students in rural Ontario. The program provides financial assistance to employers creating jobs for students between the ages of 14 and 30.
